Graph of Love

“The Graph of Love” is a collection of poems that attempts to unveil new layers to identity and language via the intersection of love, or the brief absence of it. The author/poet tries to create new worlds of relief and self-rediscovery in and around the throbbing graph of love and the troubling field of loss expressed through the molten magma that is grief. The lyrically prosaic poems are storied songs of affectation (or sorrow), the metamorphosis of self – occasioned by the near-perfect clash of love and loss. Hence, the author digs into the sweetly untapped treasury that is nothing, the fickleness that is something and the final emptiness that can be everything. The collection celebrates Africanness, motherhood, womxn, family and the gift of memory.
